Been a member for several years. Excellent journalism by their staff! However, this review is about the interface of the app and recent updates. The dark mode does not work on premium articles in the app. Email links to articles do not go directly to the app. The new comment section is terrible, much of the screen is cutoff but up upper header space and the new font is not great. Sub comments are now hidden and need to be expanded. The old format was far superior. Change it back please!

The app is fairly well organized and much easier to use and navigate than the website. As news organizations go, I'd call them reasonably unbiased. They clearly have a tilt, which is mostly rather center right. But they come much closer to the traditional journalism that every MSM organization has abandoned wholesale in the last decade. In other words, they seem to make a sincere effort to strive for objectivity.

I love the news organization. The content and extra stuff are awesome, but the app needs some work. When I get a push notice, please don't give me a teaser headline and make me open the app just to get the one peice of info you kept out of the headline. As a paying customer, this is infuriating. Just give me the whole story so I can quickly grasp it. Second, I NEVER get to the same story from the push notice. I'm forced into the app, which is annoying enough, then I never find the story anyway!
